Terms

Who we are
ReactHive makes website templates and other resources for people building with React and Next.js. You can reach us at hi@reacthive.dev. By buying or downloading anything from us, you agree to these terms.
Payment
Checkout is run by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), who act as the merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, works out and collects any sales tax or VAT for your country, and sends your receipt and invoice. Your purchase is also covered by Polar's terms. We never see your card details. Prices are in US dollars.
Delivery
Your download is ready as soon as the payment goes through. Polar emails you a receipt with a link to your purchase, and you can download the files again at any time from Polar's customer portal using the same email address.
What you get
The full source code of the product, as shown in its live demo, with a README that explains how to set it up and make it your own. When we fix or improve a product, the new version appears in your downloads at no extra cost.
What you can do with it
Each purchase is a licence for one person or one company. With it you may:
- Build as many websites as you like with it, for yourself or for clients, personal or commercial.
- Change it, adapt it and combine it with other work in any way.
- Charge your clients for sites you build with it, and hand a finished site over to a client to run and change.
What you can't do with it
- Sell, share, give away or redistribute it, changed or not, as a template, theme, starter kit, UI kit or any other product whose main value is the product itself.
- Publish its source code in a public repository or on a marketplace.
- Present its design as your own original work when offering it to others as a design or template.
Photos, fonts and other people's work
Fonts come from Google Fonts under their open licences. Photographs and film in the demos are there to show the design: they keep their own licences (listed in each product), and you should replace them with your own before you launch. Open-source packages keep their own licences. Names, addresses, prices, people and reviews in the demo content are made up.
Refunds
See our refund policy.
No warranty
We test everything we sell and will help you if something doesn't work, but products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using them, and in any case our liability is limited to the amount you paid.
If the terms are broken
Your licence ends if you break these terms. Websites you have already delivered in line with them may stay online.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one on this page on the day you bought it.
